Psychology & Neuroscience at UMW
Do you want to learn more about studying psychology or neuroscience at the University of Mary Washington? Please join us for an online question-and-answer session with Dr. Stebbins, a faculty member in the Department of Psychological Science, as well as a panel of students who are studying psychology and neuroscience at Mary Washington. Approaching UMW as a First-Generation College Student
UMW defines first-generation college students as any student whose parent(s) or guardian(s) have not completed a four-year degree in the United States. If this describes you, we know that you and your support system might have lots of questions about next steps and some of the language you’ve been encountering in the enrollment process. That’s why we’re offering this virtual session to help you get your bearings!

Virtual Sample Class- International Fairytales
If you’re wondering what academic life is really like at UMW, you’re in luck! You are invited to attended a virtual sample class in the format of a First-Year Seminar. Dr. Brooke Di Lauro, a professor in the department of Modern Languages and Literatures will be teaching a sample of her class, International Fairytales as a preview of UMW’s FSEMs.
