Guaranteed admissions agreement
With an associate’s degree and a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA, you may qualify for UMW’s Guaranteed admissions agreement with the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) and Richard Bland College.
Each fall, we typically enroll 300 students from the Virginia Community College System and other schools, both inside and outside Virginia, into UMW’s bachelor of arts and sciences programs. The average GPA for admitted transfer students in fall 2021 was 3.31.
Non-degree enrollment program
Students can also choose a non-degree enrollment program, allowing non-degree-seeking students to take classes when space is available.
